What practice and provider verification means

What the current workflow checks

• Practice and location: public name, address, city, ZIP, a public phone or official website, and recorded source references.

• Chiropractor information: public name, practice relationship, license identifier or verification reference, license-check date, and source evidence.

• Published details: approved broad services, a current service area, participation status, and whether the practice accepts appointment requests.

• Review date: a profile shows “Practice information reviewed” only when a real verification date is stored.

The application stores and enforces these evidence fields; it does not research or scrape license records at runtime.

What verification does not mean

• It is not government approval, licensing-board endorsement, or a quality rating.
• It is not a recommendation for a particular person, condition, or treatment.
• It does not guarantee current license status after the recorded check date.
• It does not guarantee services, new-patient acceptance, appointment availability, or outcomes.
• It is not strengthened by sponsorship or paid participation.

Corrections and listing requests

Visitors and practice representatives can report incorrect or outdated information through the contact page. A practice can also use that path to ask about participating or correcting its listing.

There is no public self-service claim tool. A requested change does not bypass source review, and an unresolved required fact can keep a record unpublished or remove it from public eligibility. Do not send patient or medical details with a correction.

Verification and sponsorship are separate

Sponsored status is recorded separately and must be visibly disclosed. Payment or another commercial relationship does not verify a practice, publish a listing, change the factual review standard, or imply medical superiority or state endorsement.
